In manufacturing; Product-Service Systems (PSSs) that offer products in combination with services have attracted considerable attention. However; due to the characteristics of PSSs; its development is more complex than that of a product. This paper proposes a design method that allows PSS designers to address conflicts in the development phase. To do so; first; we adopt the approach of axiomatic design to detect and avoid the conflicts. Second; for the representation of PSS structure; the modeling methods from Service Engineering are applied. The effectiveness of the method is demonstrated by applying it to a practical casestudy.
