Flow assurance is of paramount importance in the oil and gas industry. In oil and gas platforms, caissons are used to discharge effluents at high volume flow rates. This latter can cause detrimental effects if they become dropped hazard objects, as they can damage subsea modules or gas pipelines. In the present work, the orifices applied to a caisson due to the discharged seawater are assessed using multiphaseEulerFoam.
