Abstract

The paper deals with the model based design of an electrohydrostatic actuator (EHA) module for industrial applications; with special focus on modeling and simulation. The last years growing interest to environmental issues has turned companies policy’s attention to research of more eco-friendly solutions with lower environmental impact and energy saving. Thus the energy consumption; the CO2 and acoustic emissions have become essential requirements; in addition to functionality and productivity demands; that the industrial engineering has to take into account during conceptual and preliminary phases
